This series provides a meaningful collaborative opportunity to share with people around the world why The Charlotte Harbor Gulf Island Coast, its natural environments, outdoor recreational opportunities, its people, communities, and quality of life are so unique. About the Hosts: The Shark Brothers

Sean and Brooks Paxton, also known as the Shark Brothers, are internationally recognized presenters, filmmakers and homegrown adventure and wildlife personalities headquartered in North Port, Florida on the Myakka River. They specialize in producing content distributed through their production company Shot Locker Productions with works covering a mix of topics related to wildlife and habitat conservation, ecotourism, archeology, history, marine life and of course, sharks. They are also known for producing innovative live broadcasts from extreme locations including sunken Civil-War era shipwrecks in Tampa Bay and Coral Nurseries in the Atlantic Ocean. Other collaborations include projects with the Florida Aquarium, National Geographic Society, Mote Marine Laboratory’s Center for Shark Research and the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, among many other exploration, research and educational organizations.

As outspoken advocates for the sustainable use and enjoyment of natural resources, including the management of threatened or endangered wildlife and habitats, the brothers have been featured during Discovery Channel’s Shark Week and have appeared on Nat Geo Wild, NBC, PBS and The Weather Channel, as well as in local and regional television programs and publications. The brothers enjoy sharing their experience and knowledge through community outreach while backing causes they consider close to home including education, youth engagement with nature, and the support of our active duty military, veterans and first responders.
