Best of all, admission is free. Boaters can participate in the historic aerial photograph to be taken at 11 a.m. followed by a picnic at Laishley Park with music by Tim Goodman and Roseanne. Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase. Don't have a boat? No worries! Participate in a unique, 700-person human sculpture photo. At 5:30 p.m., the party shifts to Fishermen's Village for the annual "Lighting of the Village" where more than a million lights twinkle away through the holidays. Come kick off the holiday shopping season in festive style with a parade by Lee County Pipes & Drums, Dickens Carolers from Charlotte Chorale, String of Pearls Barbershop Harmony, and tons of kid's activities including a balloon man, airbrush art for the face and body and visits with Santa. Village merchants will offer complimentary refreshments and for a nominal fee, horse drawn carriage rides will be available from Riding Star Ranch.
