CHARLOTTE HARBOR & THE GULF ISLANDS, Fla. (June 05, 2015) – Volunteers are needed for the Sunshine State Games Track & Field Championships being held June 20 – 21 at Charlotte High School. The Charlotte Harbor Visitor & Convention Bureau is partnering with the Florida Sports Foundation to host the event.
The event, which is projected to bring well over 600 participants to our destination, is in need of volunteers to assist with a variety of duties including:
• Field events support
• Clerk of course support
• Timer runners
• Hydration team
• Hurdle crew
• Gate control
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and would show citizens around our state how Charlotte County hosts events professionally and with our own special brand of hospitality! This site will allow you to register as a general volunteer for future events as well, but if interested in volunteering for this particular event, please make sure to check the Track & Field box while registering.
