The Visitors Bureau is investing more than $100,000 in a summer promotional campaign within the state of Florida (our top summer producer) and in two key Allegiant markets (Cincinnati, OH and Rockford, IL).
The campaign features videos on various on-line and mobile sites. The placement of the videos strategically targets specific demographic profiles in the Allegiant markets and those Florida markets which are strongest for Charlotte County. The videos will push viewers to landing pages on our website related to various vacation activities, like hitting the beach, fishing, etc.
The VCB is sending out a call for offers, not only from lodging partners but also from restaurants, spas, fishing guides, kayak and SUP rentals–pretty much any service a visitor might use.
Doing a BoGo for the summer? Make that an offer! Think creatively. This campaign will, for the most part, generate incremental business–business you would not have otherwise had. Offers help convert “looking” into “booking,” and summer travelers are looking for value.
