Aug. 19M*A*S*H Bash Barbeque supper, full liquor cash bar, character look-a-like contest, silent auctions and raffles, dancing, giveaways, and more! Benefits the Florida International Air Show.

Aug. 20–Sept. 5: Englewood Pioneer Days, Englewood: Activities include a Photo Contest, Sing Along, Pioneer Days Festival, Little Miss Englewood Pageant, Cardboard Boat Race, Open Car Show, Chalkfest 5.0, Shipwreck Dance, Pioneer Days Festival, Kids' Shipwreck Party, Fish-a-thon, Corvette Car Show, Historical Tours, Diaper Derby, and the 60th annual Pioneer Days Parade

Sept. 9 and 10: Big Orange Music Fest by Big Crush Distribution: Music on two stages, from JJ Grey & Mofro, The Fritz, Nick Moss Band, Colin Lake, Thomas Winn and the Believers, and Still Friends! Events include Sunset Celebration, Sun Paddle Fun, Throwdown athletic competition, and the Om Zone!

Sept. 16 and 17: SWFL Rockin' and Reelin' Fishing Tournament: Open to any anglers. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place for both the Inshore and Offshore Divisions. 

Sept. 23–25: Pirate Fest, Fishermen’s Village: Three days of family-friendly piracy, live music, live mermaids, pirate ships, magic, and more!

Oct. 21–23: Florida International Air Show, Punta Gorda: in addition to amazing aerial acrobatics, there’ll be family entertainment, aviation and space educational, a forum for military and civilian flight demonstrations, and military recruiting.

Oct. 29: Suncoast Credit Union's War on the Peace Dragon Boat Festival, Punta Gorda: Enjoy the races from beautiful, waterfront Laishley Park, or form your own team and participate! Great restaurants, lovely shops, Fishermen's Village, and Halloween activities are just minutes away!

Oct. 29–Nov. 20: Waterfest, Englewood Beach/Englewood: Kicks off with Ecofest, Oct. 29: hands-on learning opportunities geared towards children and families in beautiful Lemon Bay Park; Paddlefest, Nov. 11–13: an entire weekend of racing, games, prizes, fun, and food; and Racefest, Nov. 18–20: an excitement-filled, three-day festival with thrilling off shore power boat competitions Nov. 19 and 20. Nov. 5–12: Vet Fest, hosted by iHeartRadio: The Official Dedication of the Vietnam Wall of Southwest Florida is Nov. 5, 10:00 am, which kicks off week-long tribute to all veterans, with performances from the Port Charlotte JROTC Rifle Drill Team, the Vietnam Last Patrol, Fred Brandon and the Country Express Band, The Boca Bande, Mike Riley and his Boogiemen, and Nashville recording artist David Ball.
