Thank you to the increasing number of partners adding their events to Facebook and the VCB's site, thus getting themselves "seen" in the This Week's Happenings newsletter (still the most popular thing the Bureau does)!

More tips and tricks:

  • Be sure your event is designated as an event; posts do not show up in event searches nor in the "I'm Going" app (click here for a reminder about "I'm Going").
  • Add your event as early as possible; many events are not added to the newsletter because they show up on Facebook after the newsletter has been published. Publishing schedule
  • Name your Facebook page: a concrete link to which to send visitors for more information is preferable to instructions to "Search "Company Name" on Facebook." The easier you are to find, the more potential visitors will do just that.
