“Tourism is important to the success of Charlotte County’s economy and we are thrilled FGCU has established the Bachelor of Science in Resort and Hospitality Management program in Punta Gorda. Its location will make it convenient for students to attend and we are confident the graduates will be the future leaders of the local hospitality and tourism industry,” said Sean Doherty, Interim Director of the Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Visitor & Convention Bureau.
