DESCRIPTION:
Cedar Point Environmental Park is a 115-acre Charlotte County park managed by Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center. Its five-miles of trails traverse pine flat woods, marshes and coastal hammocks while leading to the waters of Lemon Bay, a Florida aquatic preserve. The park is home to many plants and animals including the American bald eagle, gopher tortoise, bobcat and great horned owl. Environmental programs are conducted regularly to educate visitors about the beauty of southwest Florida.
