A Golf Getaway on the Gulf Coast

Golfing at sunsetNothing beats a day of golf under a clear blue sky, basking in the warmth of the sun in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach. For the best golf in south Florida, look no further.

Not only is it very easy to get here and play a scenic course, the Charlotte Harbor Gulf Island Coast offers year-round play on 15+ beautiful Florida golf courses—6 in Englewood, 3 in Port Charlotte, 6 in Punta Gorda, and several more close by—which means an amazing variety of golf. Play a full round, hit a few practice balls, or take some golf lessons to sharpen your skills, whatever you're in the mood for.

One of our courses, Heritage Landing, was voted #11 in Golf Pass's Top U.S. Public Golf Courses - Golfer's Choice 2024 list, and #2 on the Top 25 Golf Courses in Florida list. Looks like it's time to start planning your next round at this destination course!

We also have two courses in the Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary Program (ACSP) for Golf: Maple Leaf Golf and Country Club in Port Charlotte, and Lemon Bay Golf Club in Englewood. In order to get certified, these clubs completed a rigorous multi-faceted process that included reducing their water and chemical use and increasing their wildlife habitat areas, among other enviro-friendly measures. They demonstrate a daily commitment to environmental stewardship, which golfers (and birds and wildlife) love.

When it’s time to golf in Florida (and when isn’t it?) come visit us and challenge yourself on our fantastic fairways and glorious greens. Once you’ve worked toward your par, enjoy our serene beaches, our wildlife and waterways, and our indulgent gourmet cuisine while you get ready for your next round.
